During your driver’s license medical, our doctors will conduct a thorough examination to assess your physical and mental fitness to drive.
Anyone over the age of 75 is required to undergo a Drivers Licence Medical yearly as per the Department of Transport and Main Roads or for anyone under 75 with a chronic condition. The drivers Licence Medical involves the following tests:
- Temperature
- Blood pressure
- Pulse
- Oxygen Saturation
- Respiratory rate
- Visual acuity
- Urine testing
- ECG
Please allow at least 1 hour for a Drivers Licence Medical as time is required to be spent with both a nurse and a GP.
